At the summit of Millsap Mountain stands a massive stone structure that's earned the nickname of Fayetteville's Stonehenge. This impressive hub includes a tunnel and stairs that are cleverly incorporated into both cross-country and cyclo-cross courses.

Centennial Park has established itself in the cycling world. It's played host to some seriously prestigious events including the 2022 Cyclo-Cross World Championships, the 2021 Cyclo-Cross World Cup, and the USA Cycling Pro Cup Mountain Bike Series. The Arkansas Recreation and Parks Association even named it the 2022 Outdoor Facility of the Year.

The park's central gathering point is a beautiful pavilion designed by local firm Modus Studio. This wood-framed structure provides restrooms and other amenities for park visitors and event attendees.

They're generally well-maintained and include water fountains for both you and your four-legged friends. The pavilion's design incorporates Arkansas's forestry heritage and contemporary architectural elements.

Access and Navigation

You can enter the park through three entry points: two off Old Farmington Road (one for vehicles and another for bikes and pedestrians) and a north entrance off Technology Way and North Mountain Ranch Drive. The park welcomes visitors daily from 6AM to 9PM.

One thing to note - the signage within the park could use some improvement. First-time visitors might find it a bit challenging to navigate the trail system or understand which way the trails flow. There's plenty of parking for regular days, but it can get tight during major events.
