Baker Park
About Baker Park
Play Areas & Activities
Baker Park offers a spacious playground that's designed with kids of all ages in mind. You'll find different sized playsets that work perfectly whether you're bringing toddlers or older children along. The slides and monkey bars are especially ideal for the little ones who need to burn off some energy. While there are basketball courts present, just note that the hoops and poles have been removed, so you'll need to bring portable equipment if basketball is on your agenda.
The Green Space
Though on the smaller side, Baker Park provides a well-kept grassy area that's excellent for spreading out a picnic blanket or just lounging with a good book. It's one of those simple, peaceful green spaces that offers a nice break from the hustle of Little Rock.
The park has an interesting bit of history - it was hit by a tornado on April 3, 2008, but has been fully restored since then. Just a heads up: this is definitely a quieter, more basic neighborhood park, and there aren't any restrooms available, so plan accordingly.
Getting There
You can find Baker Park nestled in Cammack Village, a charming little pocket within Little Rock, Arkansas. Its location near residential neighborhoods makes it an easy stop for nearby families or anyone looking for a quick outdoor escape.
This isn't a destination park with loads of fancy amenities - it's more of a simple, functional green space for the neighborhood. Sometimes that's exactly what you need.
