Benny Craig Park is a 22-acre green space located in the southwestern part of Little Rock, Arkansas. The park occupies low-lying land adjacent to one of the principal branches of Fourche Creek, providing a natural setting within the urban environment.
Wildlife Viewing
The park's location along Fourche Creek offers opportunities for wildlife observation and outdoor recreation. Visitors may encounter various bird species, including Brown-headed Nuthatches in the pine trees, as well as Red-breasted Nuthatches and Rusty Blackbirds during winter months.
The park's brushy borders provide habitat for sparrows, while Winter Wrens can be heard singing from the bottomlands on the east side.

Benny Craig Park serves as one of the primary entry points to Fourche Creek, making it an important access point for those interested in exploring the waterway. The Little Rock Convention and Visitors Bureau (LRCVB) and Little Rock Parks and Recreation have installed new directional signage to help visitors locate the park and its creek access.
