Park Overview

Since opening its gates in 1968, Palm Lane Park has been a favorite spot for locals in Anaheim, California, spreading across 7 peaceful acres right next to Palm Lane Elementary School. This green space south of Ball Road and east of Euclid Street has earned its place as a neighborhood staple.

With its wide, accessible pathways winding through abundant trees and open grassy spaces, the park welcomes everyone from morning joggers to afternoon picnickers. It's a good spot for tossing a frisbee, spreading out a blanket, or simply enjoying some fresh air.

Layout and Amenities

Palm Lane features a practical design with spacious open areas for community gatherings alongside serene spots for more peaceful moments. The wide, smooth pathways are easily navigable for everyone, including those with mobility considerations.

You'll find plenty of shade thanks to the park's mature trees - well-suited for those warm California days. There's a water fountain that serves both two-legged and four-legged visitors, but it's worth noting there aren't any public restrooms available, so plan accordingly.

Playground Area

Skate Plaza

The park includes a 5,000 square foot skate plaza. Designed primarily with beginner to intermediate skaters in mind, it offers a nice mix of street and transition elements without being intimidating.

Keep an eye out for the unique orange-shaped embankments - a charming nod to Anaheim's citrus-growing history that adds character to the skating experience.

Sports and Recreation

The generous grassy areas make impromptu soccer or football games easy to organize. There's also a basketball court for when you're feeling like channeling your inner NBA star.
