Park History

Cedar-Rose Park is a 4.94-acre public park in Berkeley, California. The park was developed along a portion of the abandoned Santa Fe Railroad right-of-way and additional parcels purchased by the City of Berkeley.

It was funded by a combination of Park Bond Act and Measure Y monies after voters passed a bond measure in 1974 to fund additional park development.

Playgrounds and Field

The park features multiple recreational areas catering to different age groups and activities. It includes two distinct playgrounds - one designed for children ages 2-5 that is fully enclosed, and another for children ages 5-12.

The park also offers a large multi-purpose turf field suitable for sports like soccer.
