John F. Baldwin Park

A Green Getaway & Sports Haven

Sports enthusiasts will feel right at home at John F. Baldwin Park. Grab your glove and hit the softball field, challenge friends to a game on the basketball courts, or try your hand at bocce ball - a game that's been bringing people together for centuries.

This 18-acre retreat in Concord also offers sprawling green spaces and towering trees for those who'd rather lounge on the grass with a good book than break a sweat.

Fun for the Little Ones & Furry Friends

Got kids? The park features a playground where little ones can climb, slide, and make new friends. There's even a childcare facility and preschool classrooms on-site, adding convenience for families with young children.

Dog owners will appreciate that The Baldwin Dog Park offers a space where your four-legged companions can run, play, and socialize off-leash. Just remember to follow the posted rules for everyone's safety and enjoyment.

Places to Gather & Connect

If you're planning a get-together, there are several options available. Reserve the group picnic or barbecue area on the raised platform overlook for special occasions, or simply claim one of the individual picnic tables with barbecues scattered around the grounds for a more impromptu outdoor meal.

The park is also home to the Concord Senior Center, creating a welcoming space where older adults can connect and participate in enriching activities. And if you're looking to express yourself through movement, check out the park's dance studio.
