Take a few laps on the walking trail that circles the park - three loops will get you about 1.5 miles. Golden Park features spacious green areas well-suited for picnic blankets and frisbee tosses. You can find 5-6 picnic shelters (or palapas) scattered throughout, some even equipped with electrical outlets for your convenience. The larger shelters house multiple tables that can each seat up to 10 people - ideal for spreading out. The barbecue areas with built-in grills work well for birthday celebrations or Sunday family cookouts.

Need indoor space? The park's activity room and kitchen can be rented on weekends for events like baby showers or family reunions. Just remember that both the indoor facilities and the outdoor shelters require reservations ahead of time.
