There's also a volleyball court with a sandy area that's just waiting for some action. Just remember to pack your own net if you're planning a serious game - the park doesn't provide one.

Need some downtime? Rutland has plenty of spots to catch your breath. Benches are scattered throughout, meant for people-watching or just soaking in some vitamin D.

Planning a get-together? Check out the picnic areas with tables and covered pavilions that offer much-needed shade on those sunny California days. Fire up one of the BBQ grills for an impromptu cookout - nothing beats burgers in the park!

Paved walkways wind through and around the park, making it easy to take a leisurely stroll or get in some light exercise. You'll come across street parking available along the park's perimeter when you visit.

Heads up: Rutland Park doesn't have public restrooms, so plan your visit accordingly. Water fountains are limited, and they aren't always in working order, so bringing your own water bottle is a smart move.

Dog owners, this is a great spot for your furry companions! The sidewalks and paths make for pleasant dog-walking routes. Just remember to bring your own waste bags, as the dispensers might be empty.
