Tucked away in the Lemon Hill area of Sacramento, Fountain Plaza Park is a cozy little green space that locals treasure. Sitting right next to Clayton B. Wire Elementary School, it's a wonderful spot for students to unwind after class and for neighbors to escape the urban hustle without going far from home.

Fresh New Look

In 2021, this little park got some serious TLC. The old spray ground area was completely removed (goodbye, outdated amenities!) and in its place came some exciting changes.

The playground equipment received a complete upgrade, giving the neighborhood kids something new and fun to climb, swing, and slide on - much to the delight of parents looking for ways to burn off their children's endless energy.

What You'll Find

As the name suggests, the park's fountain is its crowning glory. It creates a peaceful centerpiece that adds a touch of serenity to this urban retreat. There's something inherently calming about the sight and sound of flowing water that makes park benches nearby prime real estate for a moment of reflection.

You'll also find grassy areas meant for picnics or just lounging with a good book, while mature trees cast welcoming patches of shade on hot Sacramento days.
