Recreational Features
The 6.05-acre neighborhood park features an interactive water spray feature, which replaced an old wading pool. This splash pad jets water out of the ground at different intervals, allowing children to play, walk, run and jump through the water.
Adjacent to the water feature is a plaza area with picnic tables and shade trees, perfect for family gatherings.
Sports and Play Areas
Gardenland Park offers several sports facilities including a softball field, volleyball court, and basketball court for active recreation.
For younger visitors, there are dedicated adventure play and tot play areas designed with children's enjoyment and safety in mind.
Park Amenities
The park includes open green spaces and concrete walkways throughout, making it accessible for all visitors. Off-street parking is available for those arriving by car.
Recent improvements to Gardenland Park include the installation of a bicycle trail. The City of Sacramento has developed a master plan for further enhancements, aiming to provide more recreational options for the South Natomas community.
