Splash and Play

Spread across 6.05 acres, this neighborhood favorite features an interactive water spray feature that's a hit with local families. The splash pad, which replaced an old wading pool, sends jets of water shooting up from the ground at varying intervals, creating a playground where kids can splash, dash, and laugh their way through hot summer days. Just keep in mind it's a seasonal attraction, operating only during the summer months.

Need a break from the water fun? Right next to the splash pad, you'll find a plaza dotted with picnic tables under the cool shade of trees - excellent for lunch breaks or simply watching the little ones play.

Get Your Game On

Feeling active? Gardenland Park has you covered with a softball field, volleyball court, and basketball court where you can work up a sweat or join in on a friendly neighborhood game.

Younger visitors haven't been forgotten, with adventure play and tot play areas designed specifically with kids' enjoyment and safety in mind. The playground is nicely enclosed for peace of mind, featuring various play structures and swings suited for different age groups.

Park Basics

The park offers plenty of green open spaces connected by concrete walkways that make getting around easy for everyone. Public restrooms are available on-site, but visitors should be careful with the restroom doors.

Ariving by car? No problem - there's off-street parking available. The park sits on a corner lot, making it easy to spot as you navigate the neighborhood.

Recent additions to Gardenland include a new bicycle trail. Looking ahead, the City of Sacramento has developed a master plan for future improvements, with the goal of expanding recreational options for everyone in the South Natomas community.
