About Braly Park
Japanese-Inspired Oasis
Situated in Sunnyvale, California, Braly Park spans a cozy 5.6 acres with a Japanese-inspired theme that sets it apart from your typical neighborhood green space. The centerpiece of this tranquil spot is Castle Lake, a small man-made pond that adds a touch of serenity to your park experience.
Play Paradise
The park features thoughtfully designed playground areas for children of different ages. There's a larger play zone excellent for the 5-12 crowd, while the little ones (ages 2-5) have their own specially designed area to explore safely.
A tall climbing structure made of rubber offers a good challenge for older kids while providing safety features. You'll also find rope ladders, rope courses, an assortment of swings and slides, and even musical instruments that let kids unleash their inner composer.
The playground's unique hill climb connects two mounds with a bridge and offers a fun slide for the way down. Safety first: the entire play area uses rubber mulch to cushion any tumbles or falls.
ADYosemite National Park and Giant Sequoias Tour from San Jose
This is the only Yosemite group tour that departs from San Jose, making it a convenient option for Bay Area travelers. You'll explore iconic sights like El Capitan, Half Dome, and Bridalveil Fall, plus enjoy a peaceful walk among giant sequoias in Tuolumne Grove.
Water Fun
On warm days, the concrete frog splash pad sprays water, providing relief from the heat for children.
You can wander over to the pond with geese and ducks and cross the small bridge. Watching the ducks paddle around in the gentle stream can be quite relaxing.
Get Active
For those looking to be active, Braly Park includes tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, old-school horseshoe pits, and a shuffleboard area.
If basketball is more your thing, you can access courts on the adjacent school property when school's not in session. Need a simple workout? The walking track loop circles the entire park, excellent for stretching your legs or getting in those daily steps.
Picnic Perfect
There are plenty of places to sit and enjoy a meal. Benches are located around the playground area, and picnic tables - many shaded by trees - provide protection from the sun.
Planning a gathering? Three dedicated picnic sites await, with one even offering electrical outlets for your party needs. These versatile spaces work wonderfully for birthday celebrations, family reunions, or just casual weekend get-togethers.
A small but adequate parking lot sits conveniently next to the playground, making your visit hassle-free.
AD4 Hour Livermore Valley Wine Tour
The Trolley is the most fun, popular, and scenic way to travel to our exceptional wineries in the Livermore Valley Wine Country, taste great wine, and see the vineyards on our beautiful rolling hills. A delicious pre-ordered deli-style lunch is served at the second winery visited.
Practical Perks
No need to cut your park day short with clean public restrooms strategically placed near the playground - a thoughtful touch that parents of young children will especially appreciate.
Dog lovers, rejoice! The park welcomes your four-legged friends, with many regulars bringing their pups to trot along the perimeter paths. And for the sandbox enthusiasts, there's a dedicated sand area where kids can channel their inner architect with sandcastle creations.
