Park Overview

Conejo Creek South Park is a 54.7-acre recreational area located in Thousand Oaks, California. The park, which has 50.3 developed acres, is situated behind the Conejo Valley Unified School District's administrative offices on East Janss Road. It is separated from Conejo Creek North Park by East Janss Road.

History and Development

Originally acquired in 1972, the property has been improved over time with significant support from dedicated volunteers, non-profit organizations, and service clubs. The first soccer fields were completed in 1976, establishing it as the largest sports turf area in the Conejo Valley.

Since 2005, the park has boasted one of the finest full-size baseball fields in Ventura County.

Activities and Features

The park is home to AYSO Region 9 and hosts the annual Conejo Valley Days event.

In 2013, covered parking solar panels were installed, adding to the park's amenities and environmental sustainability efforts.
