Aqua Vista Park
About Aqua Vista Park
Pool and Water Features
The heart of this 12.1-acre park is its outdoor pool complete with a large waterslide that makes summer days a lot more fun. The pool runs seasonally from around Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, offering all-day admission once you're in. You can find both shallow areas great for little ones and deeper sections for stronger swimmers.
Just a heads up - the pool does regular safety breaks throughout the day when you'll need to hop out for a few minutes. It's standard procedure, so don't worry if you see everyone suddenly clearing the water.
Sports and Recreation
Beyond the pool, Aqua Vista Park has solid options for staying active. There are two tennis courts if you want to work on your backhand, plus a basketball half court for shooting hoops. The playground is specifically designed with tot swings for children ages 2-5, making it a natural magnet for families with young kids.
Gathering Spaces and Natural Areas
When you need a break from all the activity, there's a picnic shelter available for meals or just hanging out in the shade. The park also maintains natural areas that act as habitat for local wildlife - you might catch sight of different birds during seasonal migrations if you're paying attention.
Practical Information
You can find Aqua Vista Park at 18700 E. Wagontrail Circle. Like other Aurora parks, it's open from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m. daily. Remember to keep your pets leashed and under control, and stick to designated grills if you're planning to fire up any food.
