About the Location

Pavilion and Picnic Space

Need a spot for your next family gathering? Highridge Park offers a great solution. The park features a spacious pavilion that can host up to 50 people, fantastic for birthday parties or casual get-togethers. You can find about 5 picnic tables under this large sheltered area, giving everyone a place to sit while enjoying the outdoors.

Open Spaces to Play

Beyond the pavilion, there's plenty of room to spread out and have fun. A generous grass area invites impromptu frisbee games or just lounging on a blanket with a good book. If you're in the mood for a stroll or jog, a paved path encircles the park, making it easy to get your steps in while enjoying the scenery.

Farm-Themed Playground

The real star of Highridge Park is its charming farm-themed playground that got a fresh makeover in 2022. Kids can explore a large barn structure (best for ages 5-12) complete with slides and climbing challenges. Smaller children (ages 2-5) will love the truck structure designed just for them.

The playground goes all-out with its farm theme, featuring fun touches like a scavenger hunt hidden inside the barn, giant corn sculptures that seem to sprout from the ground, and a friendly mama pig statue that's meant for photo ops.

You'll also find classic playground favorites here - a merry-go-round for spinny thrills, an old-school see-saw, and a challenging rock wall. Don't miss the corn tunnel that kids love to crawl through. With such variety, both toddlers and older kids will find something to enjoy.

Swing Area

The swing section offers something special with its expression swings - innovative two-person swings where parents can sit facing their little ones while swinging together. It's a sweet way to connect while having fun! Traditional swings and quirky individual spinning seats round out the options for swingers of all ages.

Good to Know

You can find a water fountain to quench your thirst after all that play. Parking is available on the street right next to the park, making access easy. Just be aware that there are no restroom facilities here, so plan accordingly.

The park follows Aurora's standard rules and regulations and welcomes visitors daily from 3AM-10PM - though we're not sure who's hitting the playground at 3AM!
