About the Location

Recreation Spots

Spread across nearly 13 acres, Singletree Park offers a little something for everyone. Sports enthusiasts can shoot some hoops at the basketball court or practice their serve at one of the two tennis courts.

If you're visiting with little ones, the playground area comes equipped with tot swings and various climbing structures that cater to different age groups. Just a heads up - there's not much shade around the play equipment, so you might want to bring some sunscreen on those sunny Colorado days.

What's Available

There's plenty of open green space meant for tossing a frisbee, having a picnic, or just lounging with a good book. Planning an event? The reservable shelter makes this spot great for birthday parties, family gatherings, or community meet-ups.

Dog parents will love the off-leash dog area on the east side of the park where your four-legged friends can run free. There are toys and waste bags available - which can be handy when you forget to bring your own! Remember though, in other areas of the park, your pup needs to stay leashed according to city rules.

Note that there aren't any permanent restrooms here, however you might find temporary facilities depending on when you visit.

The Vibe

This is definitely one of those laid-back neighborhood parks that rarely gets overcrowded - except maybe during prime morning and evening hours. Its modest size makes it great for a quick playdate or dog walk, however it's probably not your best bet if you're looking to get in a serious run or hike.

The park has become something of a local favorite for families in the area, and interestingly enough, it's also a hotspot for Pokémon GO players!

Who Runs It

The City of Aurora takes care of keeping Singletree Park in good shape, from maintaining the facilities to enforcing the rules that keep it enjoyable for everyone. The park welcomes visitors daily from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m., giving you plenty of time to enjoy all it has to offer.
