It features a thoughtfully designed two-level play structure with the lower section great for toddlers, plus a twisted slide that's guaranteed to produce giggles. Instead of the usual sand that ends up in shoes and pockets, you'll come across rubber flooring that's both cleaner and easier on knees.

The playground includes a musical play section where kids can experiment with percussion instruments and noise makers - something you don't see at every park. Perhaps the most appreciated feature, though, is the abundant shade from mature trees covering much of the equipment - something of a rarity for playgrounds in Colorado.

Stay Active or Take It Easy

For the more active visitors, there's a solid basketball court with two hoops waiting for your next pickup game. The open field provides plenty of room for impromptu soccer matches or whatever sport strikes your fancy.

A walking trail loops around the park, great for a casual stroll with your four-legged friend or getting in some light exercise while enjoying the scenery.

Perfect for Picnics

When hunger strikes, head to one of the picnic tables nestled under the shade trees. These spots are ideal for family gatherings or just enjoying a sandwich in the fresh air. You'll also find benches scattered throughout when you just want to sit back and watch the world go by for a while.
