About the Location
Scenic Features
The park spans approximately 33.7 acres and features a serene lake as its centerpiece. Originally the site of a swampland called "Frenchie's Lake," it was named after one of the area's original landowners, Nathaniel K. Huston.

As of 2025, further upgrades are in progress, including the redesign of the playground and replacement of the asphalt walking loop on the west side of the park. These improvements aim to make the park more inclusive and enjoyable for all visitors.
