History
Situated in Fort Collins, Colorado, Spencer Park is a cozy neighborhood green space that's been serving the local community since 1980. At just half an acre, it's not the biggest park you'll find, but it offers a nice bit of neighborhood green space.
The park carries the name of Herb Spencer, the final owner of the Nelson Farmland and Nelson Milk Company before development changed the landscape. If you're a history buff, you might appreciate knowing that locals gathered on September 26, 1980, for a dedication ceremony that officially welcomed this little park into the community.
