Park History
Riverside Park is a historic urban park located along the Connecticut River in Hartford, Connecticut. Originally designed by the Frederick Law Olmsted firm in 1899, this Victorian-era park has evolved significantly over the years.
The park spans 75 acres, offering a blend of natural beauty and recreational facilities. Over time, the park has undergone changes due to urban development, including the construction of nearby railroad tracks and Interstate 91.
