Situated in Davie, you'll come across a large round pen and arena that horse enthusiasts absolutely love. Both areas come equipped with wash racks, hoses, and water troughs - everything you need for a day with your equine friend. There's plenty of space to train, exercise, or just enjoy some quality time with your horse.

One of the best parts? The park connects to a network of equestrian trails that wind through the surrounding area. Local riders frequently mention how much they appreciate the arena's quality and how convenient the location is for regular training sessions.

Beyond Horses

Not into horseback riding? No problem! Oak Hill has something for everyone. Kids will have a blast at the recently remodeled playground and tot lot. The play area now features nice shade structures (a Florida must-have) and modern equipment. There's even a cool musical component built into the central slide that kids seem to find fascinating.

When hunger strikes, head to one of the picnic areas complete with tables and grills. Planning something bigger? The park's covered pavilion can hold up to 60 people and comes ready with a grill and electrical outlets. You'll need to reserve it ahead of time, but it's excellent for birthday parties or family gatherings.

What makes this park stand out for families is its thoughtful layout. With a single entrance and fully fenced perimeter, it's especially great if you're visiting with little ones or children with special needs. You can actually relax while they play!

Unlike some of the more crowded parks in the area, Oak Hill often feels like your own private retreat. The expansive grassy areas give everyone room to spread out, whether you're tossing a frisbee or setting up for a family picnic. Everything is kept remarkably clean and well-maintained, too.

Dog owners, rejoice! Your four-legged friends are welcome here, and they'll love the generous green spaces for running and playing. Since the park sits away from busy streets, it's a relatively safe spot for dogs to get some exercise (while on leash, of course).

This peaceful 10-acre public park is located about half a mile north of the Long Key Natural area on SW 130th Avenue in Davie.

The gates are open daily from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., giving you plenty of time to enjoy everything Oak Hill has to offer. Clean restrooms and well-maintained facilities round out what locals often describe as a "quiet location" in Davie's park system.
