Tree Tops Park is a 243.3-acre natural area located in Davie, Florida. Established in 1980, the park was formerly a dairy farm that was preserved by Broward County for public use.

The park features a diverse ecosystem including oak hammocks, tropical hardwood forests, and restored freshwater marshes.

Boardwalk and Wildlife Viewing

A highlight of Tree Tops Park is its 1,000-foot boardwalk that winds through 23 acres of restored freshwater marsh. This boardwalk includes viewing platforms where visitors can observe local wildlife such as turtles, fish, and various bird species.

The park is recognized as part of the Great Florida Birding and Wildlife Trail.

Trails and Observation Points

The park offers several hiking trails that meander through dense woodlands, providing opportunities for nature observation and exercise.

A 28-foot observation tower near the Live Oak Trail allows visitors to get an elevated view of the surrounding forest canopy.

Recreation Opportunities

For equestrians, Tree Tops Park maintains seven miles of designated horse trails. The park also includes facilities for boating and fishing, with a 15-acre waterway where visitors can rent pedal boats.

In addition to its natural features, Tree Tops Park provides various recreational amenities for community use. These include picnic areas, playgrounds, and an exercise course.

The park houses Oak Ridge Hall, a multipurpose building available for events and meetings.
