Situated in Davie, Florida, Waterford Park spans a compact 5 acres but packs in plenty of recreational options. If you're looking to shoot some hoops, you'll find two well-maintained basketball courts waiting for your next game.

Fancy a different kind of ball game? The park offers a sand volleyball court great for casual matches with friends. Tennis enthusiasts can use the courts too, but heads up - currently only one tennis court is in playable condition.

One standout feature is the set of eight racquetball courts that remain in good shape. There's also a roller hockey rink, but it's temporarily closed for maintenance. For baseball or softball fans, a backstop is available, plus there's plenty of open space for whatever activity strikes your mood.

Picnic Spots

Planning a gathering? Waterford Park has you covered with two rentable picnic shelters. The smaller one sits near the playground with four 8'x5' tables and room for about 25 people.

This cozy shelter comes equipped with a charcoal grill, restrooms, water access, and electrical outlets - pretty much everything you need for a successful get-together.

For larger groups, the second shelter near the basketball courts can accommodate around 60 people with its ten picnic tables. It also includes a grill and electricity, making it ideal for family reunions, birthday celebrations, or even as an outdoor workspace when the weather's nice.

Family Fun

Kids will love the playground that thoughtfully includes separate equipment for toddlers and older children. And no need to leave Fido at home - the park welcomes four-legged family members too.

Clean restrooms are available, and park rangers help maintain the grounds. For those looking to get some steps in, a paved exercise path meanders through the park, well-suited for a morning jog or evening stroll.

Location & Hours

Waterford Park is tucked into the peaceful Waterford neighborhood, an area of mid-sized family homes built in the late 1980s and early 1990s. You'll find it easily on Waterford Drive, conveniently close to I-75.

The park operates daily, open from 9AM to 9PM Monday through Saturday, with slightly shorter hours on Sunday (9AM to 7PM).
