About the Location

Sports Facilities

Spread across 10.02 acres, Forzano Park is the kind of place where the whole family can find something to enjoy. You'll find well-kept fields and courts for various sports, attracting both serious league players and weekend warriors alike.

The park's crown jewel is its football field, complete with lighting for those evening games and practices. This has turned Forzano into something of a local hotspot for football lovers and youth teams. The field is in great shape whether you're showing up for an organized game or just tossing the ball around with friends.

Right next to the football field sits a soccer field with plenty of room for matches and drills. The field is well-maintained, but keep in mind there's not much shade around the playing areas when the Florida sun is beating down.

Unique Attractions

A notable feature at Forzano Park are the six beach volleyball courts with proper sand surfaces. These courts draw quite a crowd, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings when regular games take place. With night lighting available, you can keep the volleys going well after sunset.

Having multiple courts means several games can happen at once, creating this energetic, beach-like vibe in the middle of Miramar. Many folks make the trip to Forzano specifically for these volleyball courts, which are some of the better-maintained ones in the area.

Family Amenities

Beyond sports, Forzano offers a few things for the younger crowd too. There's a small playground with slides and swings where kids can burn off energy in a safe setting.

You'll also find a small gazebo that is a picnic spot, but you might want to bring your own chairs as seating can be limited.

Facilities and Access

The park does have restrooms, but reviews are mixed on how accessible they are. Sometimes the buildings with restrooms might be locked, in which case your nearest option would be the Wawa convenience store across the street.

Forzano Park is dog-friendly, so feel free to bring your leashed furry friends along for a stroll. The circular layout of the park makes for a nice walking path if you're looking to get some steps in.

Community Space

Forzano Park's design accommodates a variety of activities for different age groups. Beyond the athletic fields, you'll discover a decent-sized amphitheater that hosts various community events throughout the year.

The multi-sport focus and maintained grounds make this a popular recreational spot in Miramar. The park welcomes visitors daily from 7AM to 10PM, with lights available for nighttime activities.
