About the Location
A Tranquil Space for Remembrance
Tucked away at the intersection of SW 64th Avenue & SW 33rd Street in Miramar, Florida, Veterans Memorial Park offers a peaceful haven dedicated to honoring those who've served our country. This modest yet meaningful space is a reminder of the sacrifices made by our military personnel throughout America's history.
Honoring Our Heroes

It's a place where you can take a moment to reflect on the commitment and courage of those who've protected our freedoms. The simplicity of the space actually enhances its power, creating a quiet atmosphere meant for contemplation away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
When to Visit
If you're planning to stop by, note that Veterans Memorial Park is open Monday through Thursday from 7AM to 6PM. The park remains closed on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, so be sure to plan your visit accordingly.
Beyond the Park: Miramar's Tribute to Service
While exploring memorials in Miramar, it's worth knowing that Miramar Regional Park houses another significant monument. On September 11, 2021, the city dedicated a memorial incorporating two steel beams from the World Trade Center to honor both 9/11 victims and veterans who lost their lives in service.
Though this monument isn't within Veterans Memorial Park itself, it reflects Miramar's broader commitment to remembering both our veterans and those affected by national tragedies.
