Tucked beside the Orlando VA Medical Center with views of a peaceful lake, Orlando Veterans Memorial Park offers a quiet retreat for honoring those who served. This space doesn't just commemorate veterans - it creates a place where their stories and sacrifices remain present in our community.

We found the park to be a good spot for both personal reflection and connecting with our shared history.

Honoring the Fallen

At the heart of the park stands a memorial commemorating about 1,200 veterans from Central Florida - specifically Orange, Lake, Osceola, Seminole, Brevard, and Volusia counties - who gave their lives in service.

The granite monuments bearing their names create a powerful visual reminder of their sacrifice. As you walk through the grounds, you'll encounter several memorial statues that further honor their memory and service.

You'll find a modest parking area when you arrive. Around the park, benches invite you to sit and reflect while taking in the lake views - something we particularly appreciated during our visit.
