About the Location
History and Purpose
Established in 1952 by the Pacific War Memorial Commission, the park serves as a living memorial dedicated to honoring veterans, with a special focus on those who made the ultimate sacrifice in the defense of the United States during World War II.
The park is managed by the Ke'ehi Memorial Organization, a 501(c)(3) non-profit that receives no government funding and is self-sustaining through donations and facility rentals. As part of its mission, the organization supports disabled veterans and their families, as well as youth programs in the community.
