Park Overview

Tucked away in Meridian, Idaho, Champion Park is a cozy 6-acre neighborhood space that's been serving the community since 2006. You can find this little oasis nestled in the Champion Park subdivision, just off Ustick Road between Eagle and Locust Grove Roads.

The park is a clean, well-maintained space where neighbors can take a break from their busy lives. Its peaceful atmosphere makes it a nice spot for families looking for outdoor time.

Recreation Areas

The park features open play areas and a walking path that loops around the entire perimeter - good for morning strolls or a bit of exercise.

If you're in the mood for something more active, the half-court basketball facilities are waiting for your next pickup game. There's also a reservable multi-use athletic field that often hosts youth football practices among other activities. Planning a gathering? The park's picnic shelter (or pagoda, as some locals call it) can be reserved for your next family reunion or birthday celebration. With a capacity for 30 people and typically featuring seven picnic tables, it's just the right size for intimate get-togethers. You'll appreciate the electrical outlets and free charcoal grill that come with the territory - making those summer BBQs that much easier to pull off.

When nature calls, you won't have to head home - the park's public restrooms are clean, well-stocked, and regularly maintained.

One thing to note: parking can be a bit tight. The small parking lot only fits about 10 vehicles, so during busy times or when sports events are happening, you might need to look for street parking. Just be mindful of any parking restrictions on the surrounding residential streets.
