This little 5.7-acre space is maintained by the Springfield Park District and got its current name in 2012 to honor David T. Lawless - a beloved local baseball coach whose dedication to Springfield's youth left a lasting impression on the community.

Like all parks in the Springfield Park District, there are some common-sense rules in place - no firearms, no bringing your own alcohol, and please don't vandalize anything (obviously).

Getting here is easy thanks to ample parking available for both solo visitors and teams. The park welcomes early birds from 6AM to 10PM most days, however Saturday sleepyheads get a break with an 8AM opening time.
