Currently undeveloped, Bear Creek Park is envisioned to serve Carmel's growing northwest population.

Master Planning

The park's master plan, adopted by the Carmel/Clay Board of Parks and Recreation on June 14, 2022, was based on public input gathered during 2021 and early 2022.

This plan aims to shape the future development of the park, taking into account community needs and preferences.

Current Access

As of March 2025, Bear Creek Park is accessible to the public on weekends from sunrise to sunset, unless otherwise noted for approved activities.

The park is still in its early stages of development, with many of its planned features yet to be implemented.

Natural Features

Bear Creek Park boasts several natural assets, including prairie grasses and a creek.

As the park develops, it is expected to provide a variety of outdoor experiences and recreational opportunities for Carmel residents and visitors.
