About the Location

History and Origins

Established in 1973, the park occupies approximately 2 acres of land in the Mapleton-Fall Creek area. Originally named Talbott and 29th Park, it was later renamed in honor of Alfred "Al" E. Polin, a steadfast community activist who dedicated his life to enhancing the local neighborhood.
