Trail System

Mill Creek Streamway Park offers over 17 miles of interconnected pedestrian and bicycle trails, along with three miles of equestrian trails. The park spans through Shawnee, Lenexa, and Olathe, starting at Nelson Island on the Kansas River and extending southward.

The Gary L. Haller Trail serves as the main pathway, an asphalt-paved route that closely follows the banks of Mill Creek. This scenic trail provides varied experiences with wooded areas, open meadows, and vistas of ball fields, housing developments, and streams.
