Schweiter Park

Historic Legacy

Acquired in 1946, the park is a tribute to Henry Schweiter, a Swiss immigrant and a prominent figure in Wichita's history who became known for his contributions as a builder, developer, and philanthropist. Previously part of Schweiter's southeast Wichita farm, the park serves as a recreational hub and a community gathering space.
