Park Overview
Situated in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Flannery Road Park is a welcoming green space that represents a neighborhood retreat. Managed by BREC (that's the Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge), this 16-acre park offers plenty of room to breathe and play. With about 16.13 acres of land, there's something here for everyone, whether you're looking to break a sweat or simply enjoy some fresh air.
Sports and Recreation Facilities
If you're the active type, you'll appreciate the variety of sports facilities here. The park features lighted ball and multi-purpose fields that allow for activities even after sunset. Basketball enthusiasts can choose between the indoor and outdoor courts, depending on the weather or your preference. There's also a tennis court for those looking to work on their serve. Need a simple workout? Head to the outdoor fitness station or take a few laps around the walking track - excellent for a morning jog or an evening stroll.

Current Status
Just a heads up - the recreation center is currently closed due to flooding. However, the park itself remains open daily from 7AM to 9PM, giving you plenty of time to enjoy this natural setting for relaxation and physical activity.
