About the Location
A Neighborhood Favorite
Located on Cedar Street in North Cambridge, the Reverend Thomas J. Williams Park offers 0.8 acres of community-focused recreation space. This compact yet well-equipped park is a popular gathering spot for local families looking to enjoy some outdoor time together.
Playground Paradise
The park features a diverse playground area for children. Little adventurers can challenge themselves on rope climbing structures, soar on swings, dig in the sandpit, or cool off at the refreshing splash pad when temperatures rise.
Much of the play area enjoys wonderful shade coverage, with wood chips cushioning any tumbles or falls. It's a good spot for children to play while parents can relax in a safe, comfortable environment.

Recreation Options
Beyond the playground, you'll find a half-court basketball area excellent for a quick game or practicing your shots. The park also features a shaded lawn area that's ideal for spreading out a blanket for a picnic, tossing a frisbee, or simply lounging with a good book.
Visiting Information
The park operates seasonally, adjusting its hours with the changing daylight. From April 1st through October 31st, it's open from dawn until 10pm. During the winter months (November 1st to March 31st), hours shorten to dawn until dusk.
If you're bringing your four-legged friends along, all pets must remain leashed throughout your visit, as there are no designated off-leash areas within the park.
