Heading over? You should know that parking is mostly limited to what you can find on the street. There is a small lot available, but it might not feel super secure if you're planning to stick around after dark.

Also worth noting: you won't find permanent restrooms or porta-potties readily visible in the park. Plan accordingly if you're thinking about spending several hours here, especially with kids in tow.

People Power

St. Hedwig is maintained by the community behind it. Since 2005, when the city stepped back from supporting the park, the St. Hedwig Park Coalition (a dedicated nonprofit) has taken over its care and maintenance.

This grassroots management keeps the baseball fields playable, the grounds clean, and ensures this green space remains available for everyone to enjoy.
