Don't let the size fool you - the waters here hold some surprisingly substantial largemouth bass, bluegill, and bream, making it worth bringing your fishing gear along. If fishing isn't your thing, the 0.25-mile concrete loop trail that winds around the lake provides a wonderful path for a leisurely stroll or a quick morning jog.

If you're bringing little ones along, the park's playground will keep them entertained with a variety of play structures.
