If you're more in the mood for a leisurely stroll, the walking trails winding through the park offer a wonderful opportunity to stretch your legs and enjoy some fresh air.

Fancy a game of tennis? The park's tennis courts are open to the public and ready for your next match. There's also plenty of open green space where you can toss a frisbee, kick a soccer ball, or simply spread out a blanket and relax.

If you're looking to enjoy a meal outdoors, you'll come across picnic areas scattered within the grounds.

Picnic Facilities

The picnic area is particularly well-equipped with 8 tables generously spaced to give everyone room to breathe. There are 3 electrical outlets distributed throughout the picnic area that can be useful if you're planning a family celebration that requires power. Even larger family gatherings won't feel cramped thanks to the thoughtful layout.

Park Information

At 4.4 acres, Bissell Hills Park provides a nice retreat in Bellefontaine Neighbors, a suburb of St. Louis, Missouri. It's a community space used by both locals and visitors for outdoor recreation.

The park is getting some nice upgrades, with new bathrooms and a pavilion in the works. Until then, you'll be glad to know the existing restrooms are kept clean and well-maintained. The City of Bellefontaine Neighbors maintains the park, keeping it open for everyone to enjoy year-round.
