Grace Young Park

A Neighborhood Haven

Grace Young Park on Military Avenue in Omaha, Nebraska is a cozy 2.4-acre green space that represents the neighborhood's backyard. This compact green space offers a peaceful retreat with minimal traffic noise, making it an excellent spot for families with little ones who need room to roam safely.

What You'll Find Here

This modest park packs in quite a bit for its size. Kids can burn off energy at the playground area, which has been faithfully serving the community since the early '90s. While not the newest equipment in town, it does the job for youngsters looking to climb and slide.

Got a basketball or baseball itch to scratch? The park features a ball field where local families often gather for impromptu baseball games, as well as a basketball court that's fantastic for shooting hoops or playing a casual pickup game.

Take a Break

When you're ready to refuel, head over to the picnic area complete with a small shelter, grill, and picnic table. It's nothing fancy, but it's just right for enjoying a homemade lunch or hosting a small birthday celebration outdoors.

Dog owners will appreciate the open grassy area where four-legged friends can stretch their legs. Just keep that leash handy - the nearby busy street means this isn't quite an off-leash paradise.
