About Fox Hill Park in Las Vegas
Fox Hill Park is an 18-acre public park located in The Paseos Village of Summerlin, Las Vegas, Nevada. Opened in December 2018, the park is situated on Antelope Ridge Drive, adjacent to Vassiliadas Elementary School.
The park features an "adventure play-themed" design with 20 play structures catering to children of various ages. The centerpiece is a 32-foot climbing tower, offering a challenging and exciting experience for older children. Two zip lines provide thrilling rides across the park, while embankment slides offer swift descents for visitors.
One of the park's most notable attractions is the "Orange Beast," a giant climbing structure that presents a unique challenge for adventurous climbers. Custom swings, a climbing fort, and a spinning machine round out the diverse play options available.
Beyond the play structures, Fox Hill Park includes four covered picnic ramadas, providing shaded areas for families and groups to gather and relax. The park also boasts an 18-hole disc golf course, with most holes ranging from 130 to 150 feet in length. This course is designed to be beginner-friendly while still offering moderate elevation changes and scenic views, making it an attractive option for disc golf enthusiasts of all skill levels.
The park's design takes advantage of its hillside location, offering visitors panoramic views of the Las Vegas Strip and the surrounding valley. This elevation not only enhances the park's aesthetic appeal but also provides an additional element of interest to the various activities available.
Fox Hill Park is open daily until 10:30 pm, allowing visitors to enjoy its amenities throughout the day and into the evening. The park's rules and regulations ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all visitors, including leash requirements for dogs and prohibitions on alcohol and glass containers.
