About the Location
Sports Facilities
At the heart of this park lies a fantastic tennis complex featuring five outdoor lighted tennis courts, including one impressive stadium court. The Summerlin Tennis Club calls this place home, offering various tennis programs for kids and adults alike, all under the watchful eye of a dedicated tennis pro.
If basketball is more your thing, there's a fully lit, full-sized basketball court with six hoops - well-suited for when you want to shoot around with friends or organize multiple games at once. The courts stay lit until at least 8:30 PM, so you can still get your game on even after the sun goes down.
Children's Play Areas
One of the cutest features has to be the custom-built tricycle tract for little ones, nestled within an area called "Arborville". It's an adorable, safe space where toddlers can pedal around to their hearts' content.
The playground area has evolved over time - some of the beloved green slides and an old train feature that once delighted kids have been removed. While the play area could benefit from additional shade (especially during those scorching Vegas summer days), it remains a favorite spot for families with children.
Park Grounds and Recreation
Lush green lawns spread throughout the park, offering plenty of space to throw down a picnic blanket, practice your yoga poses, set up an impromptu volleyball game, or play fetch with your four-legged friend. These open areas provide flexible spaces that adapt to whatever outdoor activity you're in the mood for.
A serene walking trail meanders through the grounds, meant for a peaceful stroll in this quiet, well-kept setting. The path connects the different sections of the park while providing a nice route for your daily exercise routine.
Amenities and Information
When you're ready for a break, head to the picnic pavilion where you can relax in the shade and enjoy a meal with family or friends. Clean restrooms are available too - always a plus for any park visit.
The grounds are well-lit and maintained, making this a safe space for recreation at almost any hour. The overall cleanliness and upkeep are definitely worth noting.
Opened in 2003, this community park sits on Sageberry Drive in the Summerlin area. It's located in the Arbors Village and is part of the broader Summerlin North community.
Just note that the park operates under certain rules to keep everyone safe and happy - these include restrictions on alcohol, guidelines for pets, and regulations for court usage.
