Hollywood Regional Park

Hollywood Regional Park is a large recreational area located in the eastern part of Las Vegas, Nevada. Situated at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Sahara Avenue, the park offers visitors one of the best views of the Las Vegas skyline in the valley, thanks to its position in the foothills of Frenchman Mountain.

The park has recently undergone a significant expansion, adding 76 acres of new recreational space to the existing facilities. This expansion, completed in 2023, has greatly enhanced the park's offerings and appeal to the local community. The expanded area includes a variety of new features designed to cater to diverse interests and age groups.

One of the key additions to Hollywood Regional Park is the extensive network of walking trails. The expansion added over two miles of new, 10-foot wide concrete trails, providing ample space for walking, jogging, and casual strolls. These trails feature distance markers at quarter-mile intervals, allowing users to easily track their progress.

For sports enthusiasts, the park now boasts four new natural turf soccer fields, along with a warm-up field. This addition significantly increases the opportunities for organized sports and casual play in the area. The park has also embraced the growing popularity of pickleball by installing eight dedicated courts for this fast-paced, paddle sport.

Dog owners will appreciate the four new dog park areas, providing safe, enclosed spaces for pets to exercise and socialize off-leash. These additions make Hollywood Regional Park a more pet-friendly destination for the community.

The expansion also focused on enhancing the natural beauty of the area with the inclusion of desert native gardens. These gardens not only add to the aesthetic appeal of the park but also serve an educational purpose, showcasing the unique flora of the region.

To accommodate the increased visitor capacity, the park expansion included the construction of additional parking facilities, with 310 new vehicle spaces available. This ensures that even during peak times, visitors can find parking with relative ease.
