Found in The Mesa village of Summerlin, Mesa Park spans a generous 19 acres of Las Vegas terrain. Since opening in 2004, this public space has become a popular neighborhood recreation area, offering mountain vistas that enhance an afternoon outing.

Sports Facilities

If you're into sports, Mesa Park has plenty to offer. There are three lighted softball/baseball fields where the Summerlin South Little League regularly plays and practices. One field even features stadium seating for those who prefer to watch rather than participate.

Tennis enthusiasts can claim one of the two lighted tennis courts, while basketball players gravitate toward the lighted full-sized court equipped with six hoops. And if you're looking to perfect your swing, the batting cages are available for some extra practice.

The courts have also become a hotspot for pickleball players, proving that this park adapts to changing recreational trends while maintaining its classic appeal.

Family Amenities

Kids have plenty to keep them occupied at Mesa Park. The tot lot and playground area is thoughtfully divided into sections for different age groups, with rock walls and climbing structures that will challenge even the most energetic youngsters.

Families can use one of the covered picnic ramadas equipped with barbecue facilities for meals. With about 10-12 picnic tables scattered within the grounds - all notably clean and well-maintained - finding a spot for lunch isn't usually a problem.

You'll also find community restrooms conveniently located near the playground and a concession building that opens during special events and games.

Parking is plentiful, but you might need to circle around during Little League games or special events. The presence of security helps maintain the park's safe, family-friendly atmosphere.
