Maldonado Park

Maldonado Park is a 26-acre public park located in Sparks, Nevada. The park is situated near Canyon Parkway and is adjacent to Bud Beasley Middle School. Due to its proximity to the school, portions of the park are on school grounds, so visitors are advised to use those sections only when school is not in session.

The park offers a variety of recreational facilities for visitors to enjoy. It features multiple sports fields, including soccer fields and baseball fields, catering to team sports enthusiasts. For those interested in individual activities, the park also includes a basketball court and a volleyball court.

Maldonado Park also boasts amenities for various age groups. There is a playground for children to enjoy, as well as a skate park for skateboarding enthusiasts. One of the park's unique features is an interactive splash pad, providing a fun way for visitors to cool off during warmer months.

It's worth noting that while the park offers many facilities, it does not have public restrooms or water fountains. Parking is available in the Bud Beasley Middle School parking lot outside of school hours. Despite these limitations, visitors have reported that the park is clean and well-maintained, with covered picnic tables available for those who wish to enjoy a meal outdoors.
