Natural Beauty

One of the first things you'll notice are the mature trees casting generous shade within the park - well-suited for hanging hammocks on warm New Mexico days. The spacious grassy areas invite you to kick off your shoes and feel the earth beneath your feet.

The park maintains a wonderfully calm atmosphere most of the day, but it does transform into a livelier space after school lets out. If you're seeking quiet reflection time, a morning or early afternoon visit might be your best bet.

Things to Do

Pack a lunch and take advantage of the two picnic tables near the playground, or spread a blanket under the shade trees for an impromptu picnic. Trash cans are placed throughout the park for your convenience.

The playground here caters primarily to the 5-and-up crowd, with various monkey bars and climbing structures that will challenge active kids. While younger children can enjoy some elements, the equipment really shines for older kids who can navigate the more adventurous climbing features independently.

Good to Know

Bringing Fido along? The park is dog-friendly with sidewalks wrapping around most of the perimeter - ideal for a leisurely stroll with your four-legged friend. You can find dog waste bags available on site, so there's no excuse not to clean up.

Note that there are no public restrooms available here, so plan accordingly. The park welcomes visitors daily from 6AM to 10PM.
