About Lexie Lane Park
A Piece of Cary History
Dating back to 1972, Lexie Lane Park holds the special distinction of being Cary's first park. Named after the town manager of that era, this 2.9-acre green space offers a peaceful retreat from the bustle of everyday life.
Tucked-Away Location
You'll discover this intimate space just outside Downtown Cary near N. Dixon Avenue. It sits right by a police substation, which happens to be adjacent to the park. Despite its downtown-adjacent location, the park maintains a surprisingly peaceful vibe - nestled quietly behind the substation and the Town of Cary recycling facility.
ADThe Original Raleigh Ghost Walk
Otherworldly slimy entities lurking in the sewers, the ghostly shaking sounds of a train crash, long-dead restauranteurs still guiding their business' direction long after their death, and much more. These creepy stories and others await you in the Raleigh Ghost and Urban Legend Walk, where we explore the facts and fiction behind some of Raleigh's creepiest folklore.
Small but Mighty Amenities
Despite its compact size, Lexie Lane offers several recreation options. At its heart lies a beautifully maintained baseball field complete with bleachers for when you want to catch a local game or maybe organize one yourself. Basketball more your thing? There's a basketball court waiting for your next pickup game.
Kid-Friendly Space
If you're bringing little ones along, they'll appreciate the small playground that's particularly well-suited for younger children. Just a heads up - there aren't any swings here. When nature calls, clean and accessible restrooms are right on-site, so no need to cut your park day short.
Easy to Reach, Easy to Enjoy
With its central Cary location, Lexie Lane Park is easily accessible whether you're a local or just exploring the town. The intimate size and low-key atmosphere provide a quieter park experience - a place to enjoy some fresh air and greenery.
