Facilities

Need a spot for your next gathering? The park's neighborhood center building is available for rent, making it great for everything from birthday celebrations to community meetings. While you won't find permanent staff here, the City of Raleigh's Health and Wellness Programs department keeps things running smoothly.

The center features an outdoor deck that overlooks a serene natural area - a lovely spot to catch your breath or enjoy a small get-together with friends.

Trails and Natural Features

Lace up your walking shoes and hit the quarter-mile paved loop trail that meanders through the park. Whether you're out for a casual stroll or a brisk jog, this well-maintained path connects you to all the park's highlights.

A small pond adds a touch of tranquility to the landscape and might even offer a chance to cast a line if fishing is your thing.

Sports Facilities

Playground Areas

While you can keep an eye on the little ones from around the play area's perimeter, some additional seating along the north side would make the experience even better.

Planning a family gathering? The picnic shelter with multiple tables offers a great spot to share a meal outdoors. You can reserve it ahead of time or try your luck with first-come, first-served availability if no one has booked it.

Scattered across the park are open grassy spaces that work wonderfully for spreading out a blanket for a casual picnic or tossing a ball around.

Getting to Glen Eden is a breeze thanks to multiple parking areas, including lots off Glen Eden Drive and at the corner of Carlow Street and Eden Croft Drive. These various entry points make the park easily accessible no matter which direction you're coming from.
