About Tony Brush Park in Cleveland
Tony Brush Park is a public green space located at the intersection of Random and Mayfield Roads in the Little Italy neighborhood of Cleveland, Ohio. The park was dedicated in 1993 and is named after Anthony Brescia, also known as Tony Brush, a champion boxer and prominent resident of Little Italy.
The park serves as a central gathering place for the community and offers recreational facilities for visitors of all ages. It was developed on the site of a former baseball field and playground, which had been dedicated in 1972 as Random Road Park. The park's design incorporates elements that reflect the character of the Little Italy neighborhood while providing modern recreational facilities. Its proximity to local businesses, restaurants, and cultural attractions in Little Italy adds to its appeal as a central feature of the community.
