The basketball court is in great shape - it got a fresh resurfacing in early 2024, making it a smooth spot for a pickup game. Tennis players will appreciate the four tennis courts surrounded by sturdy fencing and equipped with quality nets. The tall halogen lights mean you can keep the match going even after the sun sets.

If you're into fitness, the park's outdoor circuit gym features resistance training equipment that lets you squeeze in a strength workout while enjoying the fresh air. The winding walking trails around the grounds are ideal for a morning jog, an afternoon stroll, or simply taking in the natural surroundings at your own pace.

Playground and Water Features

One of the highlights for families visiting during warmer months is the splash pad. Open seasonally from Memorial Day through Labor Day weekend, this water playground offers a refreshing escape from Oklahoma's summer heat. The sprays and fountains are popular with children.

Younger visitors will enjoy the playground area that's particularly well-suited for toddlers and early elementary school-aged children. The jungle gym and play equipment are kept clean and in good condition, creating a safe environment where little ones can climb, slide, and explore.

Community Space

For family picnics or small gatherings, the park offers two picnic shelters that are well-maintained and equipped with tables. These covered areas provide welcome relief from the sun when you need a break from activities.

The park's landscape features expansive grassy areas dotted with mature trees that create a sense of tranquility. It's quite common to spot squirrels darting up and down the many trees - a small but charming detail that adds to the park's natural character.

Additional Information

One thing that stands out about Manion Park is how clean it's kept, with trash cans conveniently placed within the grounds. The park welcomes four-legged friends too, with the trails and open spaces providing plenty of room for dogs to get their exercise.

Note that there are no public restrooms available in the park. You can visit daily between 6 AM and 11 PM, which means it's accessible whether you're an early bird looking for a morning workout or prefer evening activities when the day cools down.
