Located in northeast Bend, this 3.0-acre neighborhood favorite offers a little something for everyone. The well-maintained open lawn areas provide plenty of space for impromptu games, picnics, or just lounging in the sun.

The multi-age playground caters to different stages of childhood development. Little ones (ages 2-5) can enjoy toddler-friendly slides, while their older siblings tackle the more challenging play equipment. The swings are always a hit, and parents can breathe easy knowing everything sits atop safety padding. Need to shoot some hoops? The basketball half-court is ideal for a quick game or practicing your jump shot.

Gathering & Picnic Areas

The park's covered pavilion provides shade on hot summer days and shelter during Oregon's occasional drizzles. With two handicap accessible picnic tables, everyone can join in for birthday celebrations, family reunions, or casual weekend get-togethers. It's an accessible space for community gatherings.

Natural Landscape

Boyd Park balances manicured spaces with Central Oregon's natural beauty. Take a relaxing stroll along the soft surface trails that meander through native vegetation, offering a mini-escape without leaving the neighborhood.

The trails lead to fascinating rock outcroppings that kids love to explore (and adults secretly do too). On clear days, you can enjoy views of the mountains and desert - quintessential Central Oregon vistas.

For the Pups

While not officially designated as a dog park, Boyd Park is definitely dog-friendly. The spacious grassy areas give four-legged friends room to stretch their legs, and thoughtfully placed waste bag dispensers make it easy to clean up after your pooch.

Good to Know

Established in 2008, Boyd Park has become a valued retreat for the northeast Bend community. Street parking is readily available if you're coming from further afield.

You can find a porta-potty restroom on-site that's regularly maintained. The park welcomes visitors daily from 5AM to 10PM.

Located in a residential area, Boyd Park offers both recreational amenities and natural beauty.
