Hixon Park is a charming urban green space located in Bend, Oregon. Situated between Allen Road and Crowell Way in the southwest part of the city, this small park offers a peaceful retreat for local residents and visitors alike.

Covering approximately 0.3 acres, Hixon Park features a central plaza area that serves as the focal point of the park. The plaza is equipped with bench seating, providing a comfortable spot for visitors to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

The park includes a turf area, which adds a touch of natural greenery to the urban setting. One of the park's most distinctive features is its whimsical four seasons clock sculpture.

Park History

Hixon Park was acquired by the Bend Park & Recreation District in 1998 from Brooks Resources. The project was led by John Simpson, who named this urban square and incorporated the distinctive Seasons Clock as a central feature.

Its location along SW Crowell Way places it conveniently within the urban fabric of Bend, offering a pleasant outdoor space for nearby residents and workers to enjoy.
